Jews for Racial and Economic Justice (JFREJ), a progressive grassroots organization, needed Cause Effective to help ensure continuity and promote growth in the organization?s individual donor base during a change in staff leadership. As part of our process, we analyzed the group?s individual donor base and developed a strategy to build deep donor connections with the new Executive Director. We also assisted JFREJ throughout the fundraising process, helping the group develop a plan, make realistic projections, create compelling materials, and identify opportunities to involve the Board. Once the new director was hired, she approached Cause Effective for coaching and guidance on fundraising strategies and staff expansion. We helped the group raise over $90,000 in new dollars?more than 50% increase over the previous year? and triple the size of its staff from two to six.
