Sashay Turner, Communications and Development Manager, Day One
Sashay Turner is the Communications and Development Manager at Day One. In her role, she manages internal and external communications and fundraising support. She works to create a unified voice that promotes healthy relationships. Sashay has extensive experience working with youth in the non-profit and education sector. She was also recognized by the State of New York for being a peer educator in advocating for equality in relationships as a high school student. She is passionate about giving back to her community and amplifying the voice of young people. Sashay earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University at Albany in Sociology and her Master’s in International Development and Humanitarian Assistance from NYU. She enjoys traveling, especially to Jamaica to visit her loved ones.
