Anna Wallman has worked in youth development and education with City Year Philadelphia, City Year New York, and The New-York Historical Society. As a research assistant at the University of Pennsylvania's Center for High Impact Philanthropy, she collaborated with visiting Social Impact Fellows and senior analysts to evaluate the effectiveness of substance-abuse treatment and prevention programs and provided research support on health and education policy. A native of New York City, she received her B.A. in History from Bates College where she graduated with honors. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Administration at NYU, specializing in leadership and non-profit management.
