Kirsty Bryant
Kirsty Bryant joined Cause Effective in 2022, with a background in program management, assessment and learning honed through her work designing and monitoring evaluation systems in 33 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America. As a Senior Program Officer with Slum Dwellers International (based in Cape Town, South Africa), Kirsty developed urban resilience programming focused on housing, environmental justice, youth and gender, and produced communications materials to document SDI’s work for board members, partners and donors. Prior to SDI, Kirsty coordinated the New School’s Graduate Program in International Affairs’ Fieldwork Program in South Africa; and served as a mentor coach supporting first-generation college students with New Jersey Needs You.
Before making the switch to the nonprofit sector, Kirsty spent five years as a creative and operations manager in the fashion and bridal industries, where she learned to set priorities, direct client expectations and handle stress. She received her Master’s in International Affairs (Concentration: Cities and Social Justice) from the New School, and her Bachelor’s in Business Communications/Community Relations and Africana Studies from Gettysburg College.
