Tia Ellis
Tia Ellis joined Cause Effective in 2022 with a background in operations and project management gained through work at nonprofits such as the New York Housing Conference, Children’s Health Fund, Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law School, and Children of Bellevue. She has extensive event planning experience, along with campaign management, social media, team-building, and data handling skills. She has often faced the assignment of overhauling inadequate program management systems, gaining a reputation as the “go-to” person in overcoming logistical challenges. Tia started her nonprofit career as a development intern at Her Justice. She received her BS with a major in Public/International Affairs and minor in African American/Latin Literature from Baruch College in 2018.
