Cause Effective has weathered many storms in partnership with nonprofit organizations. We took a leading role in helping New York’s nonprofits recover during and through the aftermath of 9/11, the crash of 2008, and Hurricane Sandy. COVID is an unprecedented moment in the history of this country and the world. Nonprofits small and large are working frantically to pivot their fundraising strategies during this uncertain time. Every day nonprofit leaders are making difficult programmatic and staffing decisions that will have an immediate and long-term impact. Cause Effective is working with nonprofits to help them pivot and identify key opportunities to evolve their fundraising efforts to sustain their important work during this difficult time.
As the world continues to deal with the devastating impact of COVID-19, the leaders of many nonprofit organizations are making tough decisions that threaten the very core of their organization and whether it will be even in existence.
In a time of crisis, it is not surprising that many nonprofit leaders will immediately turn to tactics to save their organization. Asking questions of their team like: “What do we say to our supporters?” “How do we reach major donors?” “How do we stay relevant?”
Through the Cause Effective Fellows Program: Advancing Leaders of Color in Fundraising, Cause Effective has worked closely with development directors of color who represent some of the leading organizations in the Tri-State area.
Cause Effective partners with hundreds of organizations each year that make a difference in communities throughout the Tri-State area.
