Abasi Clark, Senior Advancement Manager
Abasi Clark, a native New Yorker by way of Washington Heights and Harlem, is currently the Senior Development Manager at Generation Citizen. Prior to working at Generation Citizen, Abasi has led fundraising efforts at The March of Dimes New York for their March for Babies and Run for Babies campaigns; the National Multiple Sclerosis Society leading their Walk MS campaign; and has created fundraising campaigns for Inwood House and Girl Scout of the USA Overseas. Abasi has been instrumental in developing strategies to engage individual and corporate support at each organization he has worked. Abasi holds degrees from Hunter College (B.A. in Psychology) and Columbia University (M.P.A.). He developed a passion for community empowerment when his father would bring him and his siblings to rallies for his union and social justice issues. That passion carried over into High School and College where he became involved in student government. His commitment to community-based organizations led him to work at the Harlem Children’s Zone, Inwood House, Women in Need Inc. and Good Shepherd Services.
