LaToya is a seasoned fundraising professional with specialized expertise in special events planning. As an Associate Director at The Bronx Defenders, she is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure additional resources for the organization through individual and corporate giving. In addition to leading the planning and execution of fundraising initiatives and activities, LaToya is committed to strengthening business connections within the community and creating purposeful partnerships. Her strong interpersonal skills and personable attitude have enabled her to organically establish healthy and meaningful relationships. LaToya is passionate about helping others through her professional knowledge and lived experiences. As a Bronx native, who still resides in the Bronx with her daughter, LaToya enjoys music, decorating, and cooking.
