
Gregory J. Anderson, Bridge Street Development Corporation
Mr. Anderson joined Bridge Street Development in 2019 with over 25 years of public finance investment banking experience with several Wall Street firms, including Lebenthal & Co, Advest Inc., WR Lazard, Dean Witter and Salomon Brothers. He has completed over $5 billion of financings for state and local affordable housing and economic development finance agencies nationally. He has assisted in the development and implementation of many housing finance innovations, including one of the first FNMA/GNMA collateralized bond issues, Special Needs Housing and programs designed to stabilize neighborhoods through rehabilitating aging housing stock and expanding homeownership opportunities in underserved communities. Gregory has extensive experience with numerous governmental, nonprofit and private sector initiatives designed to promote economic development and job creation, including a newly constructed Marriott Courtyard hotel in downtown Newark, the Greyston Bakery in Yonkers, Community Academy Charter School of Philadelphia and Sarah Reed Senior Living in Erie, PA. Most recently, prior to joining Bridge Street Development, Gregory served as a Financial Services Professional at New York Life/NYLIFE Securities where he participated in the NY Life African American Community Empowerment Plan, designed to create financial stability, economic opportunity and multigenerational wealth within the African American Community. During his tenure at NY Life he also conducted financial seminars for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s MWBE Small Business Development Program.
