A passion for the Arts and Fashion is an understatement for Executive Director/Founder, Neta Washington. She grew up surrounded by family of artists and creative professionals who instilled a sense of commitment in both creative vision and community. It was inevitable for her to transition into socialpreneurship. Her career working part-time with children and volunteering for other non-profits led her to launch a fashion program for young people. Her personal commitment is to foster creativity and cultural enrichment in a community where she originally honed her skills. She has over 10+ years of experience in the fashion industry as a Designer and Project Manager consultant for reputable companies such as Ralph Lauren, Daryl K and Liz Claiborne. Earned a BFA in Design and MS in Organization Communication. The experience and exposure enabled her to share ideas, resources, innovate projects. On her spare time, she enjoys dancing ballet, jazz and knitting.
