Ameria Alleyne, Coordinator of Mentoring Services and Resource Development, Good Shepherd Services
Ameria Alleyne is the Coordinator of Mentoring Services & Resource Development at Good Shepherd Services. As a coordinator of mentoring services, she works with youth in care, justice involved youth, supportive housing and preventative services to provide mentoring experiences and mentors that will uplift, empower and create an extended community of support for the mentees. Within her resource development role, Ameria cultivates relationships with corporate partners, professionals and individuals to bring in additional funds, opportunities, experiences and resources to programs. Ameria Alleyne has been a community educator for over 21 years, starting as a tutor in her adolescent years, shaping who she is today. Ameria Alleyne studied at Binghamton University and University of Pennsylvania.
Ameria is a proud mother of a 6-year-old, wife, creative, urban gardener and lifelong learner. Ameria Alleyne's motto is that as long as we are alive there is always room to experience, grow and learn.
