Cynthia Brackett, NYC Regional Director, Vocational Services, Center for Employment Opportunities
Cynthia Y. Brackett is the NYC Regional Director, Vocational Services at the Center for Employment Opportunities. In this position, Cynthia oversees aspects of the vocational services portfolio, including performance management, program evaluation and improvement and grant procurement, management and implementation. In the 12 years Cynthia has been with CEO, she has been instrumental in introducing and incorporating CBT, MI and other evidence based practices to the CEO model. Prior to joining CEO, Cynthia was a parochial elementary school teacher and restaurant owner. She holds a BA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Masters in Counseling from the College of New Rochelle. Cynthia also serves as an advisory member on the Woman’s Foundation’s Justice Advisory Committee and is a CORO New York Leadership 32 alum.
