Lupe Guevara, LMSW, Director of Student & Family Services for GO Project
Lupe has over 10 years of experience in youth development. Lupe is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who earned her degree at Adelphi University. She launched her career with Children’s Aid, Inwood House, and Boy Town NY where she worked in various capacities that has gained her experience in collaborating and building partnerships to meet social, emotional and academic needs of students in a variety of settings and with diverse clients. Lupe has spent her career at the intersection of mental health, communities and education, leading pioneering programs that improve access to social-emotional services and create opportunities for students to reach their full potential. She loves to take long walks around the NYC and experience new cultures, and during the pandemic has been working on strengthen her green thumb skills.
