Overview of the Affiliate Consultant Role
Affiliates are project-based consultants who deliver coaching, workshops, and training to nonprofit organizations. We are also seeking Affiliates who can serve clients as an Interim Director of Development/Fractional Fundraiser. We are currently prioritizing candidates who demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: strategic planning, organizational development and communications/marketing. However, those with experience in prospect research, fundraising and Board governance will also be considered, especially if the candidate is skilled in more than one of these areas. Qualifying candidates must have at least 3 years of consulting experience. 

Cause Effective’s consulting philosophy centers around Thrivability, a nonprofit management practice using the principles of DEI and intersectionality to raise visibility, increase and improve engagement, and activate resources to fuel nonprofit missions. Our Affiliate Consultants must be committed to racial and social justice and demonstrate strategic thinking, diplomacy, and organizational skills.
