Joseph is a management strategist with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. His consulting expertise includes assignments in strategic planning, impact measurement, fundraising campaigns, and board development. Joseph’s focus is on helping nonprofit leaders clarify organizational purpose and providing them with the management tools necessary to maximize impact. Joseph has held various nonprofit leadership positions including Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, and Director of Development, at social justice and multi-service organizations such as The DOME Project, Hudson Guild, and the Anti-Violence Project.
Joseph sits on the Selection Committee for The New York Community Trust Nonprofit Excellence Awards. He is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Filipino American Human Services, Inc., and the Association of Nonprofit Specialists. He is Co-Chair of the National Advisory Board for Public Service at Harvard College and President of the Board of Directors of the Harvard Gender & Sexuality Caucus. Joseph holds degrees from Harvard College and Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs.
